Each year, several AMP supporters ask us if they can sponsor the music lessons that our students take from us. This year, we finally got all the mechanisms in place to do just that!

We are proud to announce the launch of  the first ever Atlanta Music Project Sponsor-A-Musician campaign!

Funds donated to the Sponsor-A-Musician campaign will go directly into the classroom, providing tuition scholarships and instruments for our budding, young musicians. These sponsorships are vital to keeping our students going, especially as their dedication to their musical and personal development intensifies.

For example, Kamali (pictured below), began with us in the first grade three years ago. Today he is in fourth grade, a member of the first violin section of our Gilbert House-South Bend orchestra, and part of the AMP Academy. Kamali hopes to one day successfully audition for one of the major youth orchestras in Atlanta. The Atlanta Music Project can get him to that there – if we have your support. And we now have over 100 students just like Kamali!

BONUS! Here’s the best part about this campaign: all donations to the Sponsor-A-Musician campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the AMP Board of Directors, doubling each donor’s impact!

The donation levels start at $250 and go all the way to $2,500. Monthly donation plans are available. All pledges and donations must be made by December 31, 2013. Please see the Sponsor-A-Musician Campaign page to learn more details about the donation levels and the perks that come with each level.

Donations to the campaign can be made directly on this website via our PayPal page. Checks can also be mailed to: Atlanta Music Project 1280 Peachtree Street NE Suite 4074 Atlanta, GA 30309.
