International cello soloist, Johannes Moser, teaches AMP cello student Kailah Corney.

During the 2012-2013 school year, the Atlanta Music Project debuted the AMP Academy.   The AMP Academy is designed to provide advanced musical training to AMP”s most talented and dedicated students to further develop their musical abilities.

AMP Academy students receive private instruction once a week with an AMP Teaching Artist, participate in masterclasses with renowned artists and perform in solo recitals throughout the year. Students will also receive top quality instrument and perform an annual side-by-side concert with AMP Teaching Artists.

Admittance to the AMP Academy is through audition and interview only and requires substantial commitment and moral support from the student’s family.
