Have the people at AMP and Amplify studied the music program El Sistema in Venezuela ?

Yes! Dantes Rameau and Aisha Bowden, co-directors of the Atlanta Music Project, were members of the 1st and 3rd class, respectively, of the Sistema Fellows Program at the New England Conservatory. As Fellows they both received one year of non-profit management training and two-month-long residencies in Venezuela to study, teach and perform within El Sistema. While AMP is not an exact replica of El Sistema, we are very inspired by such a remarkable program.

Inspiring! I love what I have read and seen about AMP. I look forward to volunteering in the future.
