The day after AMP AT ALTITUDE, our 2011 Spring Concert at the W Atlanta Midtown, we had our students write some reflections about their experience. I thought I’d share a few of them over the next few days. They offer, from the point of view of the child, how they are taking in the opportunity to be involved with AMP. Here is the first of these student reflections:

“I like when we sang the songs. I liked everything that we did at the concert. I think that I was a musician last night. I think I played well on my instrument. I enjoy learning to play my instrument. It was a great time last night. One more thing, I like that we saw new people. It was the best night of my life. I like the W Hotel. It was the best night. I felt happy, proud and nervous. I loved when everybody liked our performance. Everything we did was good even the mentors. When I play I am happy.”
