  • VISION & COMMITMENT
    • I understand that the AMP Youth Choirs & Orchestras is a rigorous youth music training program with a vision to become one of best youth music ensembles in the country.
    
• I undertstand that the AMP Youth Choirs & Orchestras requires a substanstial commitment from both the particpating child and the parent/guardian.

    REHEARSAL ETTIQUETTE
    • I understand that my child must arrive to rehearsal early, to warm-up and be ready to sing/play at the start of the designated rehearsal time.
     
• I understand that my child must practice his/her music individually between rehearsals.
    
• I understand that rehearsal time is not the time for my child to learn his/her music and that my child is responsible for arriving at rehearsal with his/her music prepared.
    
• I understand that rehearsals end at a designated time and I agree to not pull my child out of rehearsal early.

    SCHEDULE
    • I have read and understand the 2018-2019 AMP Youth Choirs & Orchestras Rehearsal, Dress Rehearsal and Concert schedule.

    FULL-TUITION SCHOLARSHIP
    • I understand that my child has been awarded a one-year, full-tuition scholarship worth $1,000 to be a member of the AMP Youth Choirs & Orchestras.
    
• I understand that in exchange for this full-tuition scholarship my child is commiting to attending all AMP Youth Choirs & Orchestras rehearsals, dress rehearsals and concerts for the 2018-2019 school year.

    ATTENDANCE POLICY
    • I understand the AMP Youth Choirs & Orchestras Attendance Policy:
    ◦ My child must be present for all scheduled dress rehearsals and concerts. No exceptions.
    ◦ My child can miss up to one rehearsal per concert period for any reason
    ◦ My child can request special permission to miss a rehearsal in order to participate in a school music ensemble concert.
    ◦ My child can request special permission to miss a rehearsal to participate in live all-state auditions, college auditions, summer program auditions, and other live auditions for programs of similar stature.
    • I understand that my child can and will be dismissed from the AMP Youth Choirs & Orchestras for repeated Attendance Policy violations.
    
• I understand that if my child is dismissed from the AMP Youth Choirs & Orchestras for Attendance Policy violations that this may render them ineligible for future AMP programs.

    RUN-OUT CONCERTS
    • I understand that my child may be invited to perform in run-out concerts and that while these opportunities are encouraged, they are not obligatory.

    PROGRAM MATERIALS
    • I understand that my child may be loaned a uniform owned by AMP.
    
• I understand that this uniform must be returned to AMP at the rehearsal following the concert.
    
• I understand that my child may borrow an instrument from AMP.
    • I understand that my child must return the instrument to AMP following the last concert of the year and I will report any damage or neccesary repair to the instrument to AMP Youth Orchestras staff immediately.
    • I understand that my child will be loaned a leather orchestra or choir folder owned by AMP and that my child must return this leather orchestra or choir folder to AMP following the last concert of the year.

    AMP ACADEMY ELIGIBLITY
    • I understand that if my child has participated in an AMP program prior to August 1, 2018, he/she is eligible to audition for the AMP Academy, which provides private lessons for AMP’s most talented and dedicates students.
    • I understand that auditions for the 2018-2019 AMP Academy will be announced in early October 2018.

    REGISTRATION FEES
    • I understand that I must pay a non-refundable registration fee of $25 ($10 for siblings) twice per school year: once in October and once again in January. To request a payment plan, please contact an AMP Youth Choir & Orchestras staff member.
    • I understand that the registration fee can be paid via the AMP Donation Page. Please inclue a note in the donation form with your child’s name: www.atlantamusicproject.org/donate-to-amp
    • I understand that the registration fee can also be paid in person at rehearsals by credit card, debit card, money order or cashiers check. Personal checks and cash are not accepted.
