The Atlanta Music Project's Summer Series - AMPlify Teaching Artists
Launched in June 2016, the Atlanta Music Project Summer Series is a three-week music festival and school for young musicians in middle and high school. Teaching Artists for the AMP Summer Series, in addition to leading group lessons and sectionals and teaching classes, also perform in Teaching Artist ensembles and side-by-side with AMP Summer Series students during free community concerts throughout the festival. While trained at some of the world’s greatest music schools and conservatories, AMP Teaching Artists are more than just first-rate performers and excellent teachers. The AMP Teaching Artists are musicians with social change in mind, with the desire to pass on their talent and art to the next generation and with the ability to play a role in youth and community development.
