Support Specific Areas of Need
Youth development occurs when young musicians are challenged to take their music study to a high level. The Atlanta Music Project has expanded programming to fit this challenge alongside eliminating geographic and social barriers to high-quality music education for young musicians on the southwest side of Atlanta. For this reason, private support is crucial to our ability to scale programming to meet the need.
Scholarships & Funds
Opportunities to support individual student need includes:
AMP Instruments Fund
The Atlanta Music Project Instruments Fund provides direct support for the purchase and maintenance of instruments to match student growth. Developing top young musicians is critical to retention, and quality instruments are essential to the AMP’s mission. Only through your individual support can we meet student needs.
Want to donate an instrument? To discuss details, acceptance, and drop-off of the instrument. Please contact the AMP Development Team at (678) 235-4267 or info@atlantamusicproject.org
AMP 50 for 50 Scholarship Fund – Your Donation Here Matched!
Your donation to the AMP 50 for 50 Scholarship Fund will be matched by The Home Depot Foundation. The Atlanta Music Project Academy is our premier training program for our most talented and dedicated students. The goal of the program is to put students on a fast track to the highest level of musical proficiency on their instrument. Young musicians who participate in the AMP Academy are self-motivated, disciplined, and are equipped to be the best young musicians in Georgia. To help ensure we can provide each student with high-quality instruction, specific scholarships for each young musician can be funded to offset the costs of private training.
AMP Summer Series Fund
The Atlanta Music Project Summer Series provides students who may not have any summer plans an opportunity to explore advanced instruction with the possibility to pursue college. Thus, providing an essential bridge in music education for students who do not receive music instruction as part of their school curriculum and for those who wish to continue their music studies during the summer. Your donation will support the purchase of program materials, guest artist fees, as well as space and instrument rental fees. To provide support for specific student scholarships, see Naming Opportunities. Opportunities exist to donate to all aspects of our Summer Series at various levels.
