Aisha is the Founding Director of AMPlify, the choral program of the Atlanta Music Project. Aisha served as an award-winning public school music educator, conductor and accompanist for over a decade in Washington, DC and Cobb County, GA. She joined the Atlanta Music Project as a Choral Teaching Artist during its pilot year. That experience influenced her decision to study El-Sistema and subsequently create the first Sistema-inspired choral program in Georgia.

She holds a BME from Howard University and a post-graduate certificate from the New England Conservatory Sistema Fellows Program, a prestigious, post-graduate fellowship that trains gifted musicians and educators to create El Sistema-inspired programs in the United States.
