Alexandra Shatalov, has recently appeared in performances with King Charles III on Broadway, the Riverdale Sinfonietta, Symphony Orchestra Augusta and the Talea Ensemble. She has additionally performed with the National Jeugd Orkest of the Netherlands, the St. Petersburg Chamber Orchestra and the American Institute for Musical Studies in venues such as the Berlin Konzerthaus, Amsterdam Musiekgebouw, St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theatre, Graz Stefaniensaal and Schloss Eggenberg. Alexandra received her doctorate and masters from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, where she studied with Richard Killmer. She has been on faculty teaching oboe and arts administration at Nazareth College, the SUNY Potsdam Crane School of Music and the Eastman Community Music School, where she received the 2012 Jack L. Frank Award for Excellence in Teaching. Her extra-musical interests include cooking, traveling and reading.
