Hailing from New Jersey by way of Philadelphia, Chelsea Pedano has been fortunate to lead a life surrounded by legendary musical influences. Since discovering her vocal talent at a young age, her passion, dedication to the Arts, and determination as an artist have earned her continued success throughout adolescence and into adulthood.
Ms. Pedano achieved global success when she brought her talent overseas to sing with the American Music Abroad Choir during their European tour in summer 2010. In affiliation with the Broadway Dreams foundation, Chelsea went on to share the stage with some of Broadway’s most established performers including: Titus Burgess, Nicky Snelson, and Billy Porter at The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. In the spring of 2011, Ms. Pedano took first place in Signature Theatre’s Annual “Signature Idol” in Arlington, VA.
Chelsea went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, Music Business, and Management. During her time at Berklee she sang with a number of choral ensembles in gospel and jazz, and further developed her artistry as a solo performer. She had the honor of singing alongside R&B living legends, Bilal, Aloe Blacc and Chris Turner in a Tribute to the Life and Music of Marvin Gaye.
Since graduation, Chelsea has dedicated her life to working in non-profit artistic and cultural organizations where she can give back to the community that helped make her career in the arts possible. She is honored to be joining the Atlanta Music Project and can’t wait to help make a difference in this powerful community!
