Jennifer Dorian is Founder and CEO of Full Hearted Brands, LLC, a consulting firm helping corporate, start up and non-profit brands grow their value, fan communities and engagement. Dorian believes that “life’s too short for half-hearted pursuits,” and she ignites full-hearted passion in the companies and leaders with whom she works. Dorian helps brands clearly define their mission, vision, voice, and develop fan community strategies for engagement and growth.
Dorian brings real-world operations experience together with strategic planning and brand marketing at brands like Turner Classic Movies, Coca-Cola, the Atlanta Beltline Partnership and Pizza Hut.
Dorian served as general manager of Turner Classic Movies (TCM) from 2014-2019. She diversified the on-air talent roster, and launched Turner’s first domestic streaming service, FilmStruck. As General Manager she ran the television network and a portfolio of digital and real-world brand extensions to engage fans including cinema events, cruises, festivals, merchandise and fan clubs. She was tapped by Turner’s CEO to lead a company-wide initiative to identify new opportunities for revenue growth from 360-degree brand extensions across all Turner networks, franchises, talent and characters.
Dorian previously served as chief strategy officer for Turner Entertainment Networks, overseeing strategic business planning and brand identity development and image marketing for TBS, TNT, truTV and TCM. Since joining Turner Broadcasting in 2000, Dorian led the development of the TNT drama brand, which helped propel the network to rank as ad-supported cable’s #1 network in delivery of key adult demos for six consecutive years. Dorian also oversaw the creation and implementation of the “TBS Very Funny” brand, and her work was recognized by the industry and named into the CTAM Marketing Hall of Fame.
Prior to joining Turner in 2000, Dorian was director of strategic services for sports and leisure marketing at The Coca-Cola Company. In that capacity, Dorian oversaw a portfolio of U.S. sponsorships, assessing proposals and evaluating brand alignment and potential returns on investments. Previously, Dorian was manager of kids marketing for Pizza Hut, Inc., a division of PepsiCo. She joined the company as assistant manager of new product development.
Dorian holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Texas and a bachelor’s degree from Emory University. She currently serves on the board of The Atlanta Music Project, the Atlanta Beltline Partnership and the Path Foundation. She previously served on the marketing committee for US Fund for UNICEF and the board of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. Dorian accolades include Brand Week Magazine’s “Brand Builders,” Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “Women Who Mean Business,” Cablefax’s “Most Innovative People in Multiscreen” and “Most Powerful Women in Cable.” She was recognized by Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) with the Horizon Award as well as a Woman to Watch Award.
