Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Khadijah Davis began her singing career at the young age of 9, debuting in the World premiere of ‘The Color Purple, the Musical’. Ms. Davis continued her training at DeKalb School of the Arts High School where she majored in Dance and Vocal Music. After graduating, Ms. Davis decided to follow her passion for classical music by studying at Spelman College under the tutelage of Mrs. Laura English- Robinson. During her undergraduate years, Ms. Davis was a frequent soloist for the Spelman College Glee Club. She also held positions as the Student Conductor and Section Leader. As a member of the Glee Club, she was selected to perform at the 2015 BET Honors Award Ceremony and the White House for President Barack Obama. Ms. Davis has also competed in various competitions winning first place at the inaugural Colour of Music Festival Competition and a scholarship from the Colorful Arts Society Inc. A recent graduate of Spelman College, Ms. Davis is currently a member of the Grammy Award Winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Singers.
