Ms. LaTashia S. Bridges, is a native of Atlanta, GA and a product of the Atlanta Public and Fulton County School systems. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA. As a violinist, she has performed with several well-known symphonies including Cobb Symphony Orchestra, Valdosta Symphony Orchestra and Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral Orchestra.
Ms. Bridges currently teaches orchestra in the Atlanta Public School System. For the past six years, she has been teaching middle school and elementary orchestra in the Atlanta, Cobb and Fulton County Area Schools.
An accomplished violinist, Ms. Bridges has studied with Nina Lutz and Dr. Edward Eanes.
Ms. Bridges is also actively involved in music education organizations such as The National Association of Music Education (MENC) and American String Teachers Association (ASTA).
Dedicated to teaching all ages, she has taught for over 8 years privately as well as in public school and group settings in Atlanta, GA. She began studying violin at the age of nine. She especially enjoys helping students develop their love of strings and their instrumental skills over time and seeing them reap the benefits of their hard work.
