Logan Souther is quickly developing a reputation as an orchestra conductor and pianist of significant talent with a serious approach to music in Atlanta, Georgia. Logan is the founding artistic director of the Gainesville Sinfonietta, a 25 member fully professional orchestra which produces free concerts for the North Georgia community each year. Comfortable with both symphonic and operatic repertoire Logan has serves as principal conductor and principal coach for the Georgia State University Opera Theatre and was rehearsal accompanist, coach and music director for the Studio Program at the 2017 Harrower Summer Opera Workshop. Logan began intensive studies in conducting at the age of sixteen with Michael Palmer, additional teachers including both Dwight Oltman and David Effron. Logan attended Georgia State University where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance (2016) and a Master’s degree in orchestral conducting (2017).
